CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY CONCERT BAND TO PERFORM 鈥楢MERICAN LANDSCAPES鈥擜 MUSICAL JOURNEY'

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频's Concert Band will present its final program of the 2009 season Tuesday, April 28 titled 鈥淎merican Landscapes - A Musical Journey鈥� at 8 p.m. in the Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
The program, according to Jennifer Tinnell, director of bands/instructor in music, who conducts the band, will feature music accompanied by a multi-media presentation which leads the audience on a journey through some beautiful American landscape.
She said there will be a wide variety of musical styles presented and including a 鈥渂reath-taking鈥� arrangement of 鈥淪henandoah鈥� by Frank Ticheli, 鈥淪t. Louis Blues鈥� by W.C. Handy, the 鈥渟tately and patriotic鈥� 鈥淣ational Emblem March鈥� by E.E. Bagley and the 鈥渞ich and dramatic鈥� 鈥淔rom Every Horizon鈥� by Norman Dello Joio.
鈥淭here will be a few more that you do not want to miss,鈥� she said.
鈥淲e promise an evening filled with great music and picturesque landscapes,鈥� Tinnell said.

The event is free and open to the public.
