to our campus community, academic expectations, and the many resources available to
support your journey. From meeting fellow students and faculty to learning about student
life and support services, this is your opportunity to start strong and feel at home

Student Orientation! Designed to ease your transition into college life, Orientation
is your chance to meet fellow students, connect with faculty and staff, and explore
campus life before classes begin.
Schedule:
Orientation is a one day event and includes a mix of sessions, tours, and social events.
Check-in for the Campbellsville Campus Orientation will begin on Friday, May 16th, 2025 at Ransdell Chapen at 8:30 AM (ET) for Maroon Track students
& 11:30 a.m. EST at the Ransdell Chapel for Silver Track students followed by welcome sessions, academic advising, and evening social activities.

Location:
All orientation events are held on the main campus in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Registration
and welcome activities begin at the Ransdell Chapen with breakout sessions across
key campus locations.
Activities Include:
- Campus tours and residence hall move-in
- Academic advising and course registration
- Student life and success workshops
- Icebreakers and games
- Parent/family info sessions
- Evening socials, games, etc.
Silver Track
This track is for students who are ready to register for classes. Meet with an academic
advisor to plan your schedule and take your next step toward an exciting semester
ahead! Check in Starts at 11:30 a.m. EST at the Ransdell Chapel.
Maroon Track
This track is for students who need placement testing before registering for classes.
Please read our testing policy hereCheck in Starts at 8:30 a.m. EST at the Ransdell Chapel. Please be ready to take a
placement test upon arrival.
Placement Test Scores: This year we are offering virtual placement testing at no additional cost to you!
If you are interested in testing virtually to avoid testing when you arrive to set
up your class schedule, please email your counselor or admissions@campbellsville.edu.
Each new student, prior to enrollment at the Campbellsville campus of Campbellsville
University (CU), must complete placement testing in both English and mathematics.
The placement testing requirement applies to any new student (freshman or transfer
student) who is enrolling at CU with less than 24 cumulative earned college credit
hours.
In order to be exempt from this placement test requirement, a student must provide
proof that demonstrates proficiency in English and mathematics prior to enrollment
in courses. Students are encouraged to submit documentation showing proficiency to
