Below are helpful resources to keep you informed, connected, and encouraged during this journey.

Shared by a student, because sometimes we don鈥檛 always say what we need out loud:

  1. Send letters or care packages, they make our day.
  2. Stay in touch through texts, video calls, or a quick email.
  3. Tell us you鈥檙e proud of us, it means more than you know.
  4. Keep us in the loop with what鈥檚 happening at home.
  5. Write us (yes, old-school mail still counts).
  6. Ask what we鈥檙e learning, not just what grades we鈥檙e getting.
  7. Visit (but not too often, and definitely give us a heads-up!).
  8. Call us, maybe even set a weekly time.
  9. Encourage us to try new things and grow.
  10. Sometimes just listen, we may just need to talk it out.
