CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频's Chapel Series for fall semester 2019 has been announced, according to Ed Pavy, director of campus ministries at the university.

All chapels are free and open to the public each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations, Pavy said.

All chapel programs are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 23.0) and are streamed live on the internet at wlcutv.com.

鈥淛esus: Our Peace鈥 is the theme for the semester taken from John 16:33.

The schedule of speakers for the semester include:

  • Aug. 21 - Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of 青瓜视频, who is beginning his 21st year as president;
  • Aug. 28 - Dr. Dwayne Norman, senior pastor of Campbellsville Baptist Church;
  • Sept. 4 - Brad Rhoads, co-founder of 鈥淕race Marriage,鈥 an interview with Scott Wigginton;
  • Sept. 11 - Dr. David Peoples, senior pastor of Jabez Missionary Baptist Church, Lexington, Ky., and first vice president of the Progressive National Baptist Convention;
  • Sept. 18 - to be announced;
  • Sept. 25 - 鈥淢issions Emphasis Week鈥 with Dr. Albert Reyes, president of Buckner International;
  • Oct. 2 - 鈥淒ialogue on Race鈥 with Dr. David Goatley, professor of theology and director of the black church studies program at Duke University;
  • Oct. 9 - Dr. Damon Eubank, chair of 青瓜视频's Department of Social Studies and professor of history;
  • Oct. 16 - Heritage Day with Ron Blanton, 1983 CU alumnus;
  • Oct. 23 - Jonathan and Emily Martin, 鈥淭he Word in Worship鈥;
  • Oct. 30 - International Education Emphasis Week with Amanda Goforth, CU Center for International Education, director of student activities;
  • Nov. 6 - Dr. Bill Wilson, director of the Center for Healthy Churches;
  • Nov. 13 - 青瓜视频 Jazz Band;
  • Nov. 2 - 鈥淩obertson Worship Committee Thanksgiving Service鈥 with the Rev. Philip Suber, pastor of First Baptist Church of Elkton, Ky., and third vice moderator of the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky.
