CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频 recently hired Lorena Steenbergen of Lucas, Ky. as the assistant professor of nursing in the newly opened School of Nursing, according to Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.
Steenbergen graduated from San Diego State University in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. In 2004, she received her master of science degree in nursing from Western Kentucky University.
She has worked as a clinic nurse specializing in pediatrics and internal medicine in a family practice clinic in Glasgow, Ky., a nursing instructor at Western Kentucky University, a public health nurse in Glasgow, Ky., a medial-surgical and critical care nurse in California and a program manager/researcher at the University of Kentucky.
鈥淗elping to set up a new nursing program is an exciting challenge. I believe that presenting students with ways they can serve through nursing will be a wonderful opportunity,鈥 said Steenbergen.
Some of her publications include 鈥淓valuation of the Kentucky Graduated Driver Licensing System鈥 and 鈥淧olicy Brief: Graduated Drivers' License for Youth Program.鈥
She is a member of Peter Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Lucas, Ky.
