CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. - 鈥楾is the season, once again, for the School of Music's annual Christmas Tapestry at 青瓜视频.
The concert will take place Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Ransdell Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
鈥淭his concert is considered a 鈥淕ift to the Community,鈥 Dr. Lisa McArthur, professor of flute and music theory, said. 鈥淲e are thankful for all of the support we receive throughout the year, through concert attendance, community participation, local ensembles performing on our campus, and donations to the Friends of Music.鈥
During the performance audiences will see most of the School of Music performing, both Faculty and Students.
Vocal ensembles will include the University Chorale, New Doxology, Men's Choral Ensemble, CU Singers, the Budai Family, and a Faculty Ensemble.
Instrumental ensembles will consist of the University Orchestra, Campbellsville Youth Orchestra, University Brass Ensemble, University Flute Ensemble, Jazz Combo, Violin & Piano solo, Trumpet Ensemble and the Piano Ensemble.
The Steel Pan Combo and Steel Appeal Juniors will perform in the Lobby before the concert.
鈥淲e hope that this concert will help to focus everyone's heart as we approach the Christmas season, focus on God and the greatest gift of all, His son,鈥 McArthur said.
