CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 鈥淎nd he took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 鈥楾his is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.' Luke 22:19鈥 is the theme of the 青瓜视频's Holy Week chapel service Wednesday, April 4 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
Everyone is invited to the service, which is coordinated by the Robertson Worship Committee.
Speakers for the service include: Caleb Phelps, associate pastor of South Fork Baptist Church who is a CU worship arts graduating senior, who will speak on 鈥淩eflection on the Resurrection:鈥 the Rev. John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, who also serves as pastor of Saloma Baptist Church, who will give the welcome and explanation;
Dr. Shane Garrison, assistant professor of education ministries at CU, who will give the benediction prayer and blessing; Kevin Propes, assistant dean of academic support, who will read Isaiah 53 and lead in prayer; and Leslie Way, a Biblical studies graduating senior, who will speak on 鈥淩eflection on the Cross.鈥
Alpha Rwirangira of Rwanda, Denis Santos of Brazil and Samson Tarpeh of Liberia will perform 鈥淎ll for Love.鈥 Dr. Tony Cunha, associate professor of music and associate dean of the CU School of Music, and the group New Doxology will perform 鈥淲hat Wondrous Love is This.鈥
A song of remembrance will be 鈥淚 Surrender All/Holy, Holy, Holy鈥 and a hymn of celebration will be 鈥淭he Power of the Cross.
