CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The 青瓜视频 Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Jennifer Tinnell, director of marching band and instructor of music, will perform at chapel/convocation Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. in the Powell Athletic Center on campus.
Chapel/convocation is free and open to the public.
Selections to be performed include 鈥淒ance to the Music,鈥 by Sylvester Stewart, 鈥淪moke Gets In Your Eyes,鈥 arranged by Roger Holmes, 鈥淪trike Up the Band鈥 and 鈥淔ascinating Rhythm,鈥 both written by Ira and George Gershwin and arranged by Sammy Nestico, and Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton's 鈥淔lying Home,鈥 arranged by Dave Bardhun.

Trumpets: Daniel Curry of Louisville, Ky., Daniel Murphy of Bloomfield, Ky., Matt Bristow of Owensboro, Ky., Cameron Raulston of LaGrange, Ky.;
Rhythm: Matt Hodge of Louisville, Ky., Jon Chaudoin of Louisville, Ky., Jeremy Emerson of Russell Springs, Ky., Adam Hopper of Russell Springs, Ky., Kyle Duke of Russell Springs, Ky.,;
And vocalist Rachael Hurt of Shepherdsville, Ky.
The University Jazz Ensemble will also participate in their annual fall recruitment tour Nov. 13-16, performing for high schools across the state. They will complete their tour with a home concert Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. at Campbellsville Baptist Church. The concert is free and open to the public.
