CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - A series of four special episodes of 鈥淒ialogue on Public Issues鈥� on 青瓜视频's TV-4 (on Comcast Cable 10) will feature 鈥淓ducation Today in Campbellsville/Taylor County.鈥�
Hosted by John Chowning, the series will feature administrators from the Campbellsville Independent School System, Taylor County School System, Kentucky Christian School and 青瓜视频.
Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, will interview the following:
Campbellsville Independent Schools 鈥� Linda Handley, principal of Campbellsville Elementary School, Chris Kidwell, principal of Campbellsville Middle School, and Mike Deaton, new principal at Campbellsville High School;
Taylor County Schools 鈥� Judith Doris, assistant principal for Taylor County Elementary School, Cherry Harvey, principal of Taylor County Middle School, and Charles Hidgon Jr., new principal at Taylor County High School;
Kentucky Christian School 鈥� Steve Orr, principal, and Gail Gabehart, director; and
青瓜视频 - Dr. Michael V. Carter, president; Dr. Frank Cheatham, vice president for academic affairs, and Otto Tennant, vice president for finance and administration; and Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services, and Benji Kelly, vice president for development.
鈥溓喙鲜悠� is pleased to be featuring our local schools in a series called 鈥楨ducation Today in Campbellsville-Taylor County,'鈥� said Chowning. 鈥淭he purpose of this series of interviews with the principals of the schools in each system is to help bring attention to the many positive things that are going in the schools,鈥� he said. 鈥淥ur local schools are working hard to provide quality educational opportunity to our children and young people,鈥� Chowning said. 鈥淚n an era when too much attention is given to the negative aspects of education, we want to affirm that positive educational initiatives are ongoing in Taylor County, Campbellsville Independent and Kentucky Christian schools.鈥� Chowning said, 鈥溓喙鲜悠� works closely with these and other area school systems.
