He will speak at chapel Wednesday, April 9 at 10 a.m. in the Ransdell Chapel. He will also speak Wednesday and Thursday nights in the Ransdell Chapel at 7 o'clock and also will be speaking in several classes.

The Staley Distinguished Christian Scholar Program is one of the projects of the Thomas F. Staley Foundation of New York. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Staley of New York established the lectureship in the fall of 1969 in memory of their parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Staley and Judge and Mrs. H.H. Haynes of Bristol, Tenn. The Thomas F. Staley Foundation is firmly persuaded that the message of the Christian gospel, when proclaimed in its historical fullness, is always contemporary, relevant and meaningful to any generation. For more than 20 years, Cloninger has performed thousands of times on college campuses, for churches, in theaters and for conferences all over North America.
