CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Mimi Haddad, president of Christians for Biblical Equality, will speak at two events on 青瓜视频's campus Sept. 1 and 2.

Haddad will speak at a Kentucky Heartland Institute on Public Policy forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center at 110 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky. Her topic is 鈥淭he Invisible Power of Culture to Oppress: What Every Christian Needs to Know About Gender and Justice.鈥

She will be the university's chapel speaker at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 in Ransdell Chapel when she will speak on 鈥淭he Dignity and Power of Diversity: Union with Christ Our Truest Identity.鈥 Ransdell Chapel is located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Dr. Dwayne Howell, professor of Old Testament and Hebrew, said, 鈥淒r. Haddad has a deep concern that all be free to share in the ministry of the Gospel as God calls.鈥

Haddad is a graduate of the University of Colorado and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, summa cum laude. She holds a Ph.D. in historical theology from the University of Durham, England.

Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University awarded Mimi an Honorary Doctorate ofDivinity in 2013.
Haddad is part of the leadership of Evangelicals for Justice. She is a founding member of the Evangelicals and Gender Study Group at the Evangelical Theological Society, and she served as the convener of the Issue Group 24 for the 2004 Lausanne III Committee for World Evangelization.

Shehas written more than one hundred articles and blogs and has contributed to ten books, most recently鈥淕odly Woman - An Agent of Transformation鈥漰ublished by the Evangelical Fellowship ofIndia 2014 and鈥淭he Fragrance of Christ鈥漰ublished by the Evangelical Fellowship of India and the Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief 2011.

She is an editor and a contributing author of鈥淕lobal Voices on Biblical Equality: Women and Men Serving Together in the Church.鈥滺addad has contributed to 鈥淐oming Together in the 21st Century:The Bible's Message in an Age of Diversity鈥 edited byCurtiss Paul DeYoung.

Haddad is an adjunct assistant professor at Fuller Theological Seminary (Houston), an adjunct assistant professor at Bethel University (Saint Paul, MN) and an adjunct professor at North Park Theological Seminary (Chicago).
Haddad serves as a gender consultant for World Vision.She and her husband, Dale, live in the Twin Cities.
