Reisinger formerly worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where she developed tendonitis. She enrolled in the Kentucky Dislocated Workers Program and, in 1995,
started her education at 青瓜视频 where she majored in art.
In 1997, she transferred to Eastern Kentucky University in the jewelry and metalsmithing program where she earned her bachelor of arts degree.
Upon graduation, Reisinger did repairs for a jewelry store, but for the past three years
has run her own business.
At her shop, Reisinger designs and makes her own jewelry. She also creates custom designs to her customer's specifications. She works with gold, silver, precious, and semi-precious gemstones as well as gemstone beads.
Reisinger sells her work not only from her shop but also does consignment sales. Her work has been displayed in several locations in Kentucky and as far away as Japan.
