CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频's Schools of Cosmetology and Barbering have now reopened to the public, according to Amanda Roop, director of the School of Cosmetology/Barbering.

On May 26, 青瓜视频 welcomed her School of Cosmetology and School of Barbering students back to campus to prepare for the reopening of both facilities, Roop said, and the School of Barbering began taking customers on June 8 while the School of Cosmetology opened its doors to the public June 9.

Lacey Rodriguez, lead cosmetology instructor, said the School of Cosmetology is offering its full-service menu with the exception of wax services, facials and make up application.

鈥淲axing services are very popular in the salon and unfortunately we aren't offering that service at the moment. We still offer haircuts, styles, perms, colors, highlights, relaxers, conditioning treatments, etc.,鈥 Rodriguez said.

To make an appointment a person needs to call (270) 789-5124 any time after 9:30 a.m. Once an appointment has been made, masks are required in order to enter the salon.

鈥淎lso, upon arrival, our guests will need to call before entering, someone will come out to check them in and also get a digital temperature check before coming inside to their appointment,鈥 Rodriguez said.

The cosmetology salon's hours are Tuesday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with four stylists on the floor at a time and one patron per stylist. There will also be two other students present to help with check ins, work the front desk and clean stations between clients.

鈥淲e just want everyone to know that we are excited to have the salon back open and the student stylists are looking forward to seeing all of our clients,鈥 Rodriguez said.

Cheri Fox, barbering instructor, said the School of Barbering is offering haircuts, shaves, beard trims and shampoos. They are also not offering facials.

Like the School of Cosmetology, to make an appointment, clients are to call the shop at (270) 789-5588.

Upon arrival, a mask will be required, the client's temperature will be taken before entering the shop and they will take down a contact number.

Only 10 people will be allowed on the cutting floor at any given time. 鈥淲e currently have eight students but no more than four can be cutting at the same time,鈥 Fox said.

Fox said pricing will remain the same and there will be free services offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The shop is open Monday to Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. They are closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch.

鈥淲e want everyone to know that we are doing everything we can to keep each and every client safe and well during this time,鈥 Fox said.

Both the School of Cosmetology and School of Barbering will allow one parent to be present with a child or someone who needs assistance.

While there is a total of seven locations and 11 active programs, Roop said these details are only for the main 青瓜视频 facilities.
