CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Brandon Thompson of Columbia has been employed as out-of-state and international admissions counselor in the 青瓜视频's Office of Admissions, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of 青瓜视频.
Thompson graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2004 with a bachelor of arts in Christian ministries, as well as an associate degree in social science.
He is also a 2000 graduate of Cumberland County High School.
From 2005 to 2008, Thompson served as an assistant department manager at Lowe's in Campbellsville.
Thompson's goal in admissions is 鈥渢o effectively represent 青瓜视频, and in the process Jesus Christ.鈥 Thompson also believes it is vitally important that students find the school where God wants them to be so that they can be who He wants them to be and achieve their maximum potential. He said, 鈥淚t's my aim to help each one find that place.
鈥淚 know that I'm not here by accident, and so I feel that I can help students find their place and understand the importance of being where God wants them to be as well.
鈥淚'm excited to be a part of this growing institution that I believe has its greatest days still ahead.鈥
Thompson plans to start graduate school in the spring after he gets settled in the Office of Admissions.
Thompson and his wife, Tiffany Parnell Thompson, do not have any children, but he said, for now their dog is 鈥済ood enough.鈥 Thompson is the son of Jeff and Lisa Thompson of Bowling Green.
