CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Christopher Lee 鈥淐hris鈥 Goodson was searching for a good career and finding few opportunities when he discovered 青瓜视频's Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Online program.

鈥淐ontinuing my education, especially at CU, gave me faith for tomorrow. Just a few months after beginning my MBA classes at CU, I was able to lock in an interview with the Office of Employment and Training, a department of the Cabinet of Education within the State Government, and begin a new career as the Local Veterans Representative, Workforce Specialist.鈥

The MBA program at 青瓜视频 offers two formats, the weekend format where classes meet on Fridays and/or Saturdays and the online MBA where all degree requirements can be met in an online format.

Goodson, who received his MBA on May 10, said the online program streamlined well with his family and work schedule, enabling him to keep a close focus on building his profession while at the same time building his relationship with Christ.

Dr. Patricia Cowherd, dean of the School of Business and Economics, said, 鈥淲e are proud to offer four tracks to the MBA online degree, including marketing, international business, human resource management, and healthcare management.鈥 These tracks allow students to move toward specific job specialties as they are completing their degrees.

鈥淭he CU experience has been an incredible blessing to my family, my career and my church,鈥 Goodson said.

鈥淭he MBA program has worked well with our lifestyle because my wife, son and I are really reliant on each other. We are all very active in the church, I as a youth minister, and she as a children's minister. We both have full-time employment.

鈥淟ast but not least, our little boy is a handful of fun and I just don't want to miss anything.鈥

He said with the convenient MBA Online Program he could always find time in the evening and the weekend to complete class assignments and when his son or wife needed him, it was not impossible for him to be there for them.

Karla Deaton, coordinator for Graduate and Extended Programs, and Cowherd were the persons Goodson said encouraged him to look into the MBA Online Program.

Goodson came to this area where his mother has a farm in Adair County and attained his bachelor's degree in 2004. He is married to Jacklyn Marie 鈥淛acki鈥 Goodson and they are the parents of Ethan Alexander Goodson, age 3.
