CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频's third annual Worship Arts Conference will feature Shane Claiborne (thesimpleway.org), passion artist Charlie Hall (charliehall.com) and many others Feb. 19-20, 2009.

The theme for the 2009 conference, 鈥淭he Changing Face of Worship: Ageless Worship in a Church Full of Ages,鈥 will focus on intergenerational renewal in the worshiping church, and how churches may find a balance between ancient and contemporary practices. Shane Claiborne, whose books Irresistible Revolution and Jesus for President are both top-ten Zondervan bestsellers, will challenge attendees to pursue a life where worship and justice meet.

Worship concerts will be held each night of the conference at Ransdell Chapel: John Mark McMillan (Feb. 19, 7:30 p.m.) and Charlie Hall (Feb. 20, 7:30 p.m.). The public is invited to all the concerts.

Rachael Hurt, a rising artist and former 青瓜视频 student, is the worship leader for the conference and will lead a pre-conference concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at Ransdell Chapel on 青瓜视频's campus.

Conference sessions include: spirituality of the worship leader, worshiping church as a hospitable church, practical issues of worship arts leadership, use of painting in worship, use of banners to celebrate the Christian calendar and enhance the worship service, song writing and the encouragement of 鈥渋ndigenous worship,鈥 and general aesthetics of worship.

Tickets for the two-day conference are $45 (students $25), which includes tickets to the Charlie Hall concert. The Charlie Hall concert alone costs $12 (students), $15 (general admission), and $20 (artist's circle), $10 (groups of 10 or more). Tickets may be purchased online at .
