Sylvania Bridgewater's 青瓜视频 experience was showcased over Labor Day on the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission Web site.
Bridgewater and Debbie Carter, assistant professor in the CU Carver School of Social Work and site coordinator of the local Christian Women's Job Corps, were quoted in Ken Walker's feature about the Corps and how it helps women return to the work force.
There are 215 sites nationally plus programs in Moldova, Liberia and Mexico. Kentucky Baptists maintain four sites for women: Campbellsville, Somerset, Cadiz and Hopkinsville.
Bridgewater's mentor in the Christian Women's Job Corps was Billie Sue Kibbons wife of retired CU religion professor Jerry Kibbons. The largely volunteer ministry offers job training, life education classes, Bible study and personal mentoring, all which helped Bridgewater rejoin the work force two years ago.
