CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 鈥淭he Butler Did It, Singing鈥 will be produced by the theater department at 青瓜视频 March 1-3 at 7 p.m. and March 4 at 4 p.m.

The production will be in the University Theater, and reservations are now being taken by calling (270) 789-5266. General admission is $5.

Starr Garrett, director of theater at CU, said, 鈥溾楾he Butler Did It, Singing' is a delightful musical spoof.鈥 She said it involves Miss Maple inviting several detective writers to an isolated house and then forces them to impersonate their fictional sleuths.

Garrett said Miss Maple arranges some classic murder mystery touches, just for entertainment, but what she did not arrange is the dead body on the sitting room carpet!

鈥淓veryone has a guilty secret to confess and the killer turns out to be the one least suspected,鈥 Garrett said.

The cast includes the following CU students: Cari Gaddie of Hodgenville, Ky., as Laura Carlyle; Amber Crawford of LaGrange, Ky., as Peter Flimsey;

Joe Mills of Louisville, Ky., as Chandler Marlowe; Heather Massey of Science Hill, Ky., as Charity Haze; Laura Brown of Campbellsville as Haversham;

Katherine Clarke of Columbus, Ohio as Sister White; Amber Wimsatt of Elizabethtown, Ky., as Rita Eyelesbarrow; Andrew Kern of Lebanon, Ky., as Rick Carlyle; Melody Hall of Rockfield, Ky., as Miss Maple and Jackie Hardy of Campbellsville as Louie Fan.
