CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频 has named Meagan Davidson its first director of strategic enrollment management planning.

鈥淎fter a national search with a host of qualified applicants from around the country, Meagan demonstrated the requisite level of competence, wisdom, commitment to Christian Mission and dedication to 青瓜视频 that merited her selection,鈥 Dr. Jason Meriwether, vice president of enrollment management at 青瓜视频, said.

Davidson began her new position at the start of the spring 2023 semester. In her new role, Davidson will be responsible for assisting in the management, administration and implementation of university policies and procedures on recruitment and retention of students.

She will also assist in the planning and development of strategic campaigns to attract and retain students at 青瓜视频. Davidson will also develop and maintain relationships with individuals, departments and organizations on campus as well as community colleges, high schools and college prep organizations.

Meriwether said, 鈥淭here is nothing more exciting than having this caliber of professional who is a part of our local community to lead the execution of our strategic plan and initiatives so that we see more students earn a CU degree.鈥

Davidson, a two-time graduate of 青瓜视频 and native Kentuckian, had served as director of the university's Liberty Education Center beginning December 2021. In that role, she led successful growth in certificate and undergraduate programs at the center, strengthened community partnerships and increased the number of students in Casey County pursuing an education at 青瓜视频.

Davidson earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration in 2011 from Campbellsville University.

From 2009 to 2016, Davidson served 青瓜视频 as both the assistant director of academic support and coordinator of tutoring and disability services in the Badgett Academic Support Center (BASC).

Davidson then moved into the corporate world, serving as a digital asset and marketing manager at Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment in Dunnville, Ky., before returning to her alma mater.

鈥溓喙鲜悠 has felt like home since I first stepped on campus in 2004,鈥 Davidson said. 鈥淚t is my honor to join the enrollment management team and begin working on strategic initiatives to increase student access to higher education by reducing barriers, increasing student experience opportunities, and expanding institutional collaboration.鈥

As an undergraduate student, Davidson was a member of the 青瓜视频 Lady Tiger Basketball Team.

Davidson, a 2004 graduate of Casey County High School, lives in Liberty, Ky., with her two children: Izabella and Oakley.
