CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - 青瓜视频's Baptist Heritage Lecture Series will feature Dr. Joseph Early Jr. speaking on 鈥淔undamentalism and the Birth of the Northern Baptist Convention鈥 at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 via Zoom.

Early is a professor of theology at 青瓜视频. He is also the director of the university's Quality Enhancement Plan and has taught at 青瓜视频 since August 2009.

He is also an author and has written eight books and many articles. He is also preparing a book for publication titled 鈥淵ou are Still Eve: The Subjugation of Women in the Judaeo-Christian Tradition.鈥

The Baptist Heritage Lecture Series has a mission to promote the study, discussion and research of Baptist historical events, theological distinctive, traditions and leaders that are unique and essential to understanding who Baptists are.

Early is a native of Williamsburg, Ky. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Cumberland College in 1993.

He received a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997 and a Ph.D. in Church History from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. Early is married to Tiffany Jones Early.
