CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Sons of Thunder, a Williamson, W.Va. based progressive Christian rock Band, will be performing at 青瓜视频's Homecoming from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 outside Montgomery Library.

The group calls themselves a 鈥減rogressive Christian rock band with a fire for reaching a lost and hurting generation for Christ through musical outreach and evangelistic teaching.鈥

Everyone is invited to the free performance.

The band consists of Charley McCoy, a chief credit officer for First National Bank in Williamson, W.Va.; Jim 鈥淛ammer鈥 Marcum, an ex-Army Ranger and Air Force veteran who serves as national director of the Highways and Hedges Motorcycle Ministry, from Charleston, W.Va.; and Joe Lycan, a registered professional geologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

McCoy calls himself a 鈥渕ild-mannered banker by day and eclectic bassist for Sons of Thunder when on stage lifting the name of Christ.鈥 He and his wife, Stephanie, have two daughters.

Marcum's said his driving force is the 鈥渇ulfillment of Luke 14:23 鈥 going into the highways and hedges to reach the lost.鈥 He drums with Sons of Thunder and said he is 鈥渢otally sold out to rock for Jesus.鈥

Lycan and his wife, Cheryl, are the owners of Servant Heart Farm in Wilmore, Ky., and have one son who is a student at Asbury University. They also own and manage Geoex Inc., an oil and gas production company. He said his heart felt mission is to see 鈥渢ransformation of a nation, region by region鈥 through evangelism in musical outreach, rocking for Jesus.
